Hornby R1170 OO Gauge Diamond Jubilee Train Set - LMS Maroon 4-6-2 Princess Class 6201 'Princess Elizabeth' and coaches - Boxed

Overview

• Condition: Very good overall condition.  This set was a limited edition of 4000, released by Hornby in 2012 to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.  This special set contains a Princess Class locomotive that has gold plating on all external metal, including wheels and buffers.  The locomotive has been used, so the wheels could benefit from a clean around the rims, but the wheel sides, linkage and other metal components are clean and show off the gold plating nicely.  This set includes the locomotive, three coaches, an oval of track, controller, power supply and all instructions/documentation.  It does not include the commemorative makers plate or plastic buffer stop.
• Operational Status: This model has been tested on our track and runs very smoothly in both directions.
