DJH Models 7mm Finescale O Gauge LNER A3 No.4472 'Flying Scotsman' with Double Tenders
This model represents the locomotive as it was operated from 1963-1973 in LNER Apple Green livery with double tenders. The second tender was added for extended range when operating on British Railways metals and featured in the famous recreation of a non-stop run from London to Edinburgh on 1st May 1968, marking 40 years since the inaugural non-stop run and the year steam traction officially ended on British Railways.
