Barrett Steam Models Live Steam 10mm Gauge 1 BR Black Midland Compound

Overview
  • Condition: Built to a very good standard. The model has been steamed a number of times and runs freely in both directions. The engine does however not like pumping water into the boiler via the axle pump, the hand pump is fine however. The clack has a tendency to stick from time to time despite having the o-rings replaced. Although much time has been spent on this we have conceded and now place the item up for sale so we can focus on other items. The axle pump body is loose from from the frame stretcher so will require re-soldering along with the fitting of engine/tender drawbar pin which is missing. The paintwork also requires some attention to finish.
