Midland Model Centre / MetalSmith 7mm O Gauge Ransomes & Rapier Turntable

This kit, made from MDF and brass, is partially constructed but seems to have received little, if any, use.  It is based on the hand-powered version of the turntable.  This model is the '70ft' version.

Overview

  • Condition: The base has been partially assembled and the central bridge has been completed.  The bridge has a few loose parts (the plank from the walkway and one of the metal panels from the central section are included - one metal panel is missing).  Generally in very good condition, but would probably benefit from a little tidying up.  The rest of the kit seems to be included, with several bags of unused parts, motor (tested and working), motor housing and drive band all included.  It does look like some parts may be missing - notably we can't see the motor pulley that would fit on the motor shaft - but these parts should be replaceable with similar components.  Includes full instructions.
