Bachmann OO Gauge BR Black Late Crest 2-6-0 Crab Class 5MT No.42931 - Renumbered, Boxed

This model was originally 32-176 No.42765, but has been renumbered.  Numbers on cab sides are applied neatly, the number on the smokebox door is a little discoloured.  The tender has also had the British Railways badge changed from early emblem to late crest.

Overview

  • Condition: Good overall condition, the renumbering has been done quite neatly, but there is some visible residue/shine around the emblems on the tender when viewed at a certain angle.  The tender also had additional detail glued in place that has subsequently been removed, leaving visible glue points around the top edge of the tender (see close-up photos).  Includes original paperwork, but no additional detailing pack.
  • Operational Status: Tested and runs well in both directions.
