This model includes wiring hidden under the cab and in the coal bunker.  It runs from a rechargeable Ni-MH battery pack - the battery pack is included with this model but we do not know if it retains charge we have not attempted to charge it; it does not come with a battery charger.

Includes a basic on/off switch to control power.  Could be converted to use a radio control receiver.

We attempted to test the locomotive by providing power directly to the motor.
