The Works Kit Built 7mm O Gauge 4-6-0 'Saint' Class 2900 - Incomplete

Overview

  • Condition: This model has only been partially assembled, but has the beginnings of a very high quality model - the construction to this point is of a high standard.  However, the model is currently not fixed together, the tender body is completely missing and a number of details are also missing.  The model comes with brass name and number plates for 2926 'Saint Nicholas'.  There are no instructions.  This would certainly be a project and is sold as requiring significant attention, but would make a superb model with the right care and attention.
  • Operational Status: The chassis has a Canon motor fitted, which we have tested by applying power directly to the contacts - the motor works well and gears are all in place to drive the wheels nicely.  Some pickups have been fitted, but none of these have been properly calibrated or wired up to the motor.
