This model is the Atlantic Crossing version, representing the locomotive as it appeared on its 1969 USA tour, with additional tender and USA-specific detailing parts.
Overview
  • Condition: Very good condition, but with some small marks/paint blemishes on the second tender (see close-up photos).  The coupling on one tender has been swapped (presumably to allow the model to be run with only one tender) but can still couple in the full configuration as shown.  Includes original instructions and additional detailing packs (including cow catches and bell to match the locomotive's appearance on its USA tour).
  • Operational Status: Tested and runs smoothly in both directions.  Although the model has a switch to allow 2- or 3-rail running, the third rail pickup spoons have been removed and are included in the box.  These would need reattaching to be able to run on 3-rail systems.  Features working firebox lighting.
