The Works Kit Built Gauge 1 10mm BR Green 2-6-2T Class V3 No.67684 - Battery Powered

This model does not draw power from the rails and features a wire with 2-pin plug socket at the rear.  This requires connection to a battery pack in a wagon or coach being pulled behind the engine.  Battery pack is not supplied.

The model could also be converted to use a radio control receiver or other power source with the appropriate knowledge and skill.

We tested the locomotive by providing power directly to the motor.

Overview
  • Condition: Good overall build quality, brass construction.  The decals are not entirely accurate, but look neat.  Generally in good condition but there are some signs of wear, some flaws to the livery application, etc.  Would benefit from some tidying up and finessing.
  • Operational Status: Motor has been tested and runs in both directions, but is quite loud and 'clattery' - needs some fine-tuning.  Single-stage gearbox.
