The Works Kit Built Gauge 1 10mm LNER Black ex-GER Class E4 No.2783 - Battery/Radio Control

This model includes a Fosworks radio control receiver which is designed to fit inside the tender.  It runs from a rechargeable Ni-MH battery pack - the battery pack is included with this model and does have charge, but we have not attempted to charge it and it does not come with a battery charger.

The Fosworks receiver has been given power and it does seem to function, but it has not been paired with and tested with a suitable transmitter.

The locomotive has been tested by providing power directly to the motor.

Overview
  • Condition: Good overall build quality, a mixture of plastic and brass construction.  Would benefit from a little tidying up and finessing.  Comes with Fosworks Omni RX22 Radio Control receiver that can be fitted inside the tender using a hole cut in the base of the tender. Receiver has not been tested.  Transmitter is not included.
  • Operational Status: Motor has been tested and runs smoothly in both directions.  Two-stage gearbox.
