The Works Scratch Built Gauge 1 10mm BR Intercity Executive Class 87 No.87010 - Battery Powered

This model includes a Fosworks radio control receiver which is designed to fit inside the wagon.  Originally it ran from a 12V lead-acid battery (similar to this one available from Screwfix), but no battery is included in this bundle.

The Fosworks receiver has been given power and it does seem to function, but it has not been paired with and tested with a suitable transmitter.

The locomotive has been tested by providing power directly to the motors.

Overview
  • Condition: The construction of this model is a little crude, but could make a great project to refine and detail the model. Livery is basic and not accurate.  Plastic construction with metal bogies and detailing.  One of the footsteps has come off but is included with the model to be reattached.  Body is not attached to chassis so please be careful when lifting.  Includes LED headlights.  Comes with Fosworks Omni RX22 Radio Control receiver. Receiver has not been tested.  Transmitter is not included.
  • Operational Status: Features two Mashima motors - one on each bogie.  Motors have been tested and run reasonably in both directions, but they are quite noisy.  Single-stage gearbox.  Requires suitable battery/power source.
