Overview

  • Condition: Excellent condition with highly detailed, brass-bodied construction, decorated interior, sprung doors, flexible corridor connection, knuckle couplings and removable 'Bournemouth Belle' nameboards. The coach features working table lamps - these are powered by a rechargeable 9V battery fitted under the coach; the battery is recharged from the track or via the two-pin port accessible at the side of the coach. A switch under the coach switches the lights on and off.  The previous owner had removed to original metal battery box and disconnected the wiring - this has been restored to working order and the battery box has been replaced with a 3D-printed box matching to original dimensions.  As this is mostly hidden by the underframe detailing, it maintains the look of the original model.
