Pre-Owned Large Scale Model Railways

Discover pre-owned large scale model railways at Footplate, with an ever-changing selection of G Gauge, Gauge 1, 16mm and garden railway models.

Our pre-owned large scale collection includes locomotives, coaches, wagons and accessories from leading manufacturers including LGB, Accucraft, Aster, Bachmann, Piko, USA Trains and more. From electric G Gauge models to highly detailed Gauge 1 and live steam locomotives, our stock covers a huge variety of large scale railway modelling.

Every pre-owned model is individually assessed by Footplate, with its condition, operation and features clearly described. Our stock changes daily as we purchase model railway collections from across the UK, so you'll regularly find rare, discontinued and hard-to-find large scale models alongside more familiar favourites.

Whether you're building a garden railway, expanding an existing G Gauge collection or searching for a particular Gauge 1 or 16mm model, there's always something new to discover.

Have a large scale model railway to sell? Footplate buys everything from individual locomotives to complete garden railway collections, including LGB, Accucraft, Aster, Gauge 1, G Gauge, 16mm, live steam, track and rolling stock.
