Overview
  • Condition: Good overall condition, strong and sturdy, but with some structural damage - it looks like the model has taken an impact on the can roof which has buckled the front cab wall.  There is also a bend on the front corner of the tender.  Please see close-up photos for the extent of the issues.  Because of the metal construction of the model, it could be possible to carefully bend the sections back into shape.  There are some chips to the paintwork, particularly on the buffer beam.  However, overall we still think this model is in good condition for its age and has a nice, vintage look.
  • Operational Status: Tested and runs well in both directions.  Although this shares the body of the clockwork model that was also released (as can be seen from the winding hole on the side), this is the 3-rail electric version.  Please note this model will run on 3-rail systems only.
